As a brand, Hair Made Easi has always been passionate about all things hair and keeping things local, so when we were introduced to Little Lady Locks, we knew we had found the perfect charity partner to align with.

Started in 2018, charity founder Ashley Higgins, tells us that “after working with women with hair loss and doing hair replacement systems, I soon came to realise there was virtually no help out there for children with hair loss conditions such as Alopecia. Understanding how important hair is to a young girl’s self-confidence, self-esteem, and mental well-being, I wanted to set up a charity to offer hair loss services free of charge to children and anyone under 18 as I believe many parents simply cannot afford the expensive cost for these wigs and hair replacement systems.”

As a registered charity, Little Lady Locks is dedicated to helping children and young people experiencing hair loss. The Manchester based organisation supply, fit and maintain hair replacement systems and this service is available throughout the UK and offered completely free of charge to anyone under the age of 18.

Hair Made Easi is committed to help this worthy cause. From collection of hair donations, increasing awareness and fundraising, through to product collaboration to generate vital income to support the manufacture and supply of wigs, hairpieces and accessories, individually designed for each recipient.

Ashley says “with demand for our charity’s services increasing every day, we are thrilled to have Hair Made Easi supporting us. We have some fantastic initiatives and projects in the pipeline to help us increase hair donations and raise vital funds, ensuring we can make and fit every individual wig and hairpiece based on each client’s personal requirements.”

Alongside promotion of the hair donation scheme, Nicola Wood, founder of Hair Made Easi pledges “our team is committed to the charity to help raise vital funds, engaging our global network of hair professionals to get involved to provide resource and time to support the charities activities.

To kickstart our official partnership, we have worked with the charity to re-design their website (www.littleladylocks.com) and moving forward we have set ourselves a goal, to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per month in time and a target to raise over £1000 in donations for 2023.”

You can also support the charity through your purchases of our limited edition hot pink Easiweft, with 30% of all proceeds going directly to Little Lady Locks.

Become a Hair Fairy Salon

Each of the hair systems requires around 300 grams of raw hair, this sometimes can be around eight donated pony tails. So as you can imagine they need all the help they can get. That is where the Hair Fairies come into play by spreading the word, cutting and collecting natural hair donations, sending old hair extensions and supporting them on social media.
With the costs of raw hair rising the charity desperately need those longer length extensions for the longer wigs and systems. If you would like to become a hair fairy salon, please contact Ashley here Become A Hair Fairy
